According to EgyptSaidSo.com, R&B diva Monica Arnold is engaged to Los Angeles Laker Shannon Brown. The songstress snapped a twitpic looking all bubbly and dazzling in a 10-karat diamond ring.
The two met for the very first time on the set of the singer’s “Love All Over Me” video, in which fans were asked if she should marry the NBA baller or rapper Maino. As you know, the fans chose Mr. Brown…what a coincidence right? I hear the two have been dating for just a few months, but when love is knocking at your door you better answer.
Over the weekend she performed at the Black Girls Rock! Awards in NYC sporting a GINORMOUS ring and what appeared to be a fresh tatt on her arm that says her new man’s name.
While some may think it was too soon for the couple, they feel otherwise. Monica shared her thoughts via Twitter:
