Source: WTHR Indianapolis – Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee has been arrested by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Just before 5am Wednesday, police say McAfee was soaking wet with no shirt on and tried to get into a woman’s car who was parked at a red light at College in Broad Ripple. The woman took off and called police. Police say they found McAfee and that he told them he was looking for a cab. They believe he had been swimming in the canal. Police tell Eyewitness News that McAfee tested point-one-five alcohol level during a breath test. McAfee fully cooperated with police and is now at the Adult Processing Center downtown. Colts president Bill Polian released this statement to Eyewitness News: “We are aware that Pat McAfee was arrested this morning and charged with public intoxication. We are in the process of gathering the relevant facts. When that task is complete, we will deal immediately with the issue of club discipline. Until we complete that process, we will have no further comment.”
