The world of R&B and hip-hop was dominated by one man in 2010, rap superstar Eminem.  The emcee captivated music fans with his hit album “Recovery,” and now sits atop several of Billboard’s year-end charts.  Em is number one on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Artists chart, as well as the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Artists-Male and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album Artists.  “Recovery” also comes in at number two on the year-end Billboard 200 list, finishing behind only Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed A Dream.”  Eminem’s hit collaboration with Rihanna, “Love The Way You Lie,” is also making its presence felt, finishing at number one on the year-end edition of the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs chart.

Atlanta emcee B.o.B. is also being recognized, as he earns this year’s distinction as the Top New R&B/Hip-Hop Artist.  The rapper became one of the biggest artists of 2010 with his debut album, “B.o.B. Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray.”  The record features the hit singles “Airplanes” and “Magic,” as well as the lead single “Nothin’ On You.”
