Yesterday (Aug. 31st) ATL rapper/actor T.I. was released after being sentenced to an Arkansas federal prison for violations of his parole.

He is already to getting back to work by partnering with publisher HarperCollins and Janet Jackson’s biographer David Ritz to write a fiction novel about two childhood friends torn apart by “dangerous dealings” on the streets of Atlanta, which will be hitting shelves Oct. 11.

The Associated Press reports, the fictional book is not a far cry from T.I.’s storied past as a trap star. He has secured another reality show that will be documenting his adjustment to life as a free man following a 10-month incarceration.

Viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look as he prepares to release his eighth studio album, personal moments with his children and wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and how he is coping with living in a halfway house in Georgia while he finishes out the remainder of his sentence.

T.I.’s VH1 reality series, which features 10 30-minute episodes, premieres Dec. 5 at 10PM.
