Drake may be releasing a remix to Detroit rapper DeJ Loaf’s “Try Me” sometime soon.

via HNHH – Drake already has a handle on the rap game, but it seems he’s really focusing on breaking artists these days. Over the last year or so we’ve seen him add verses to tracks from Migos, Soulja Boy, Tinashe, and most recently, iLoveMakonnen, often fast-tracking them to the big leagues.

While these co-signs generally come unannounced, we may have caught on to Drizzy’s latest venture, a buzzing single from Detroit rapper DeJ Loaf. The hypnotically catchy street record, “Try Me” has been popping up all over Drake and his OVO buddies’ Instagram accounts, from Drizzy quoting it in photo captions, to the label’s resident tastemaker Oliver El-Khatib soundtracking a video with the record.

The most recent clue came when Drake followed DeJ Loaf, and later commented on her celebratory “Drake followed me!” post with what seem to be some bars written for the song. “Wearing all white when I’m feeling godly/ Free my nigga Baka, man he just called me”, he wrote, closely mimicking both the lyrics and flow of the original, and referencing a member of his crew who was arrested earlier this summer.
