Criminal Investigation In Bobbi Kristina’s Bathtub Incident; Bobbi Kristina Violent History With Nick Gordon Triggered By Jealousy
Authorities have Nick Gordon in their sights as a criminal investigation has been launched following Bobbi Kristina Brown bathtub accident.
Georgia police believe that foul play may have been a factor in the incident that left Bobbi Kristin unconscious in a tub last month. According to TMZ.com, Bobbi had some suspicious-looking injuries that caught the attention of law enforcement. It’s unclear how she may have gotten those wounds, but she and Nick reportedly have a history of violence in their relationship.
As such, cops are looking into a possible fight they may have had about an hour before Bobbi was found face down in the tub last Saturday.
TMZ has identified a man named Max Lomas as the person that discovered her. He was reportedly stopped by Bobbi and Nick’s house around 9 AM, but he did not see Bobbi while hanging out with her boyfriend. However, he had been told that she was in the bedroom.
Shortly after Max’s arrival, Nick wandered off. Then, at about 10 AM a cable guy came by the house and Max had to let him in.
Max found Bobbi when he had to let the repairman into the bedroom, and he immediately screamed for Nick. We know that Nick came in and administered CPR while someone called 911. However, there are now reports that Nick rushed around the house to tidy it up before emergency crews arrived, cleaning a few blood stains in the process.
Both Max and Nick were interviewed by authorities the day of the incident, but neither of the men have spoken to them since. Max’s lawyer is demanding that he get immunity before he speaks to cops again, and Nick has hired a legal team. He couldn’t be reached for comment.
Now according to TMZ, Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon had a violent relationship. In fact, it was reported that their alleged violent relationship was well known among their friends … and sources say it was fueled by jealousy — but not the kind you’d expect.
Sources close to the couple tell TMZ … their spats which sometimes resulted in domestic violence were almost always triggered by Nick’s jealousy over Bobbi Kristina’s fame. He felt he was also Whitney Houston’s child since he grew up with her and could not understand why people focused on Bobbi.
One recent example … they were trying to get their own TV show but when Nick wasn’t offered the same deal as Bobbi Kristina they turned it down.
Sources close to the couple tell us Bobbi Kristina’s injuries, which triggered an ongoing criminal investigation with Gordon as the target, don’t surprise their friends because they’ve known the relationship sometimes got violent.
TMZ has made multiple attempts to reach Nick. So far, no word back.
Bobbi Kristina’s Family Angry Discussions Over Funeral Plans
As Bobbi Kristina lays near death … the family is discussing funeral plans, but we’re told the Browns are preparing for war because of the way they were treated when Whitney Houston died.
Sources connected with the Brown family tell TMZ … they are a united front to this extent — they refuse to be disrespected the way they feel they were at Whitney’s funeral.
You may recall … Bobby Brown stormed out of the funeral after security refused to let him sit with Bobbi Kristina during the service. Bobby told us at the time … he was also furious the Houstons were angry that he dared to bring 9 members of his family with him.
We’re told the feud has already reignited. Houston family security set up a perimeter around Bobbi Kristina’s room shortly after she was taken to the hospital and there was a passcode to gain entrance. Many people in the Brown family were not given the code and it caused an uproar.
As one Brown family member told us, “If something happens to Bobbi Kristina, we will not be treated like children.”
And we’re told the angry discussions are not being held around Bobby Brown. He’s gotten wind of the talks several times and he immediately shuts everyone down.
Birdman DENIED at Nicki Minaj Pre-Grammy Party
By now, Lil Wayne has made it known that he intends to take Drake and Nicki Minaj with him in his departure from Cash Money. Since this became public knowledge, fans have been wondering what Nicki and Drake will do to show their allegiance to either side, and Nicki may have just proven she’s down with Weezy no matter what, as Birdman was denied entry at her massive pre-Grammy party in Hollywood.
According to TMZ, Birdman and his crew showed up to the club around 1:45 am when a bouncer told the Cash Money boss he couldn’t get in because the venue was already closed, when the venue actually closed at 2. While many say he was only turned away because of his late arrival, Birdman’s stature and affiliation with Nicki leads others to believe there was something greater at work behind the scenes.
