Indiana Childcare Provider Arrested for the Second Time

35-year-old Brittany Baylor was already in the Clark County Jail on charges stemming from an investigation into the death of a 6-month-old in her unlicensed, in-home daycare in Jeffersonville.
Another Indiana State Police investigation has led to her being charged in a case involving a 2-month-old suffering a broken leg.
the child was placed in a car seat by Baylor when a family member picked up the infant, later on the parents suspected some sort of injury and took the baby to the hospital where it was determined to have a broken right leg.
Doctors also noted the injury was diagnostic of inflicted child physical abuse.
Baylor additionally has been charged with one count of Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, a Level 3 Felony, and Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, also a Level 3 Felony.
