INDIANAPOLIS–Two Republican representatives are discussing what they love most about the Indiana State Fair.
State Representative Peggy Mayfield of Martinsville says the fair offers a variety of ways for you to save money with $2 Tuesdays and special discount days like Triple A Day on August 15.
“The Indiana State Fair is a beloved event that is an affordable and fun filled day for families. It’s a wonderful time to remember our state’s rich heritage, showcasing everything from agriculture to arts and crafts,” said Mayfield.
As for State Representative Julie McGuire of Indianapolis, she is intrigued by all of the new attractions this year, including an outdoor basketball court, a splash pad, and a baby animal feeding adventure.
“The State Fair is a great celebration of Hoosier traditions. From exciting rides to engaging exhibits, there’s no shortage of attractions that make it a must-visit for everyone,” said McGuire.
The State Fair is open from 9 am to 10 pm daily except Mondays. It runs through August 18. You can get tickets and find all the latest deals by going here.
