EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Street racing and reckless driving are the charges against a man in Evansville.

Police there say they caught Jemmy Clarence Long II going 100 miles-an-hour down the Lloyd Expressway last Saturday night in his Subaru Impreza.

Police say it was he and a pick-up truck that was pulling the high speeds and they appeared to be racing each other.

The pick-up truck got away but the cops pulled Long over they asked him who won the race and Long said he didn’t know, but he said “I was stupid enough to try and catch up to him. I’m stupid.”

Long was arrested and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and has since bonded out.
