Harvard’s Freshman Class Gets Less Diverse
Soooo, check this: Harvard’s freshman class just got less diverse. After the Supreme Court ruled against affirmative action, the number of Black students took a hit. It dropped from 18% to 14% for the Class of 2028.
On the flip side, Hispanic or Latino representation went up by 2%. MIT and UMass Amherst also felt the impact of the ruling, but UMass Amherst managed to have its most diverse class ever.
It’s a crazy situation, fam. Harvard’s gotta figure out how to keep their campus diverse without breaking the law. This ain’t easy, and it’s gonna be interesting to see how other colleges respond.
