DMX is opening up about his latest arrest.  The emcee spoke with Arizona’s Fox 10 News from inside the Lower Buckeye Jail over the weekend, and said he’s worked hard to comply with the terms of his probation.  DMX stated, quote, “I’ve done everything they have asked me to do – complete programs, pay fines, community service.  It’s rare that I get fair treatment…It’s love or hate.”  The rapper was just three weeks away from completing an 18-month substance abuse program when he was arrested in Arizona last Thursday on several charges, including probation violation and cocaine use.  X says despite his best efforts, he made a mistake when he drank alcohol before a concert in Scottsdale last week.  He adds, quote, “I realize I shouldn’t have done it.  I wasn’t done with the program.  They let me out.  I should have protected myself better.”

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is due back in court on November 24th.  The rapper is becoming a regular visitor to Phoenix’s Lower Buckeye Jail, as last week’s arrest was his sixth in Maricopa County.  He was released from jail earlier this year after serving four months for a probation violation.
