Earlier this week the Jay Z video taped his wifey behind the scenes before the ‘American Idol’ Season 10 finale, where she debuted ‘1+1,’ a ballad off her forthcoming solo album, ‘4.’
Before hitting the stage, B warmed up her vocals in her dressing room, all while her “Hov” caught everything on camera.
In the room she was accompanied by back ground vocalists, a woman playing a keyboard, her mother Tina Knowles and her nephew Daniel Julez.
Jay-Z placed the visuals he captured on his new Life + Times website, where he wrote a touching sentiment about his lady love.
“Sometimes you need perspective. You’ve been right in front of greatness so often that you need to step back and see it again for the first time. This is the dressing room rehearsal for American Idol. NO MICROPHONE. No effects [sic],” he wrote.
