The group is reportedly expected to make an announcement before the end of the week after it was recently announced that they were pulling out of Saturday’s Michael Jackson tribute concert due to “unavoidable circumstances.” Now British tabloid The Mirror claims Will.I.Am and Co are poised to confirm their break up.
Despite Will previously stating on Twitter that “BEP will never die”, a source has since told the tabloid: “Pulling out of this weekend’s gig is the final curtain call for them – especially as they’re all such huge Jacko fans.”
They added: “Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end.”
In July Fergie announced the group were taking a break, but claimed: “This isn’t going to be the last time you’ll see us.”
