The G.O.O.D. Music artist plead guilty to a lesser charge today (October 26) and was sentenced to a fine.

Big Sean’s lawyer spoke to the media about the result in the sexual abuse accusations and case last August. “I am pleased to announce that after further investigation the Niagra County District Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue any of the sexual misconduct allegations against Mr. Anderson,”

According to XXLMag.com, Big Sean’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, told the media outlet “As a result in order to get this entire ordeal behind him Mr. Anderson agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful imprisonment with a $750 fine. Mr. Anderson regrets any misunderstandings that occurred that day and reiterates he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct. “

Sean was arrested and charged with third-degree sexual abuse and forcible touching charges after a female complained that she had allegedly been sexually assaulted after a Big Sean perfromance.

Sean has yet to issue a statement regarding the case.
