Hip-hop superstar Jay-Z is scheduled to play another set of dates alongside another iconic act.  Billboard.biz is reporting that “Hov” will tour Australia and New Zealand with U2 later this year. 

 The trek — which is in support of the newly launched Live Nation Australia — will kick off on November 25th in Auckland, New Zealand.  The tour will stop in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney before wrapping up on December 18th in Perth, Australia.  Tickets will be made available to the general public on September 3rd, while presale tickets for U2.com subscribers are available this week.

Prior to hitting the road with U2, Jay-Z will take the stage for a special set of shows with fellow rap great Eminem.  The duo will perform at Comerica Park in Em’s hometown of Detroit on September 2nd and 3rd, and at New York’s Yankee Stadium on September 13th and 14th.
