Chicago emcee Twista returns this fall with his new album “The Perfect Storm.”
Twista recently caught up with MTV News and explained that the record will showcase how much he’s developed as an artist. He states, quote, “This album is gonna be different, because you’re definitely gonna hear the growth and maturity in the music, that’s one thing for sure.”
Fans who purchase “The Perfect Storm” will also be treated to a documentary about Twista’s life, mixed in with footage of the “Windy City.” The rapper says he decided to include the project with his new album to give fans an inside look at his life. He adds, quote, “I’m a person that people don’t get to see a lot of, so when you get the documentary, you get to see how I do things, how I am in the studio, my perspective on the city.”
Twista’s “The Perfect Storm” will arrive in stores in October. His last release was 2009’s “Category F5.”
