The Black Eyed Peas will reportedly take the stage at one of next year’s biggest sporting events.

A source has confirmed to the “Dallas Morning News” that the group will perform during the Super Bowl 45 halftime show at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas.  According to the “Fort Worth Star-Telegram,” an official with the NFL also hinted at the Peas’ performance during a Super Bowl photo briefing on Thursday.

The official was reportedly discussing all the children who will be participating in this season’s Super Bowl festivities, when he mentioned that they will be referred to as “Peapods.”  NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy declined to answer when asked to officially confirm the news.

The Black Eyed Peas are preparing to release their next album, “The Beginning.”  The record, which features the current single “The Time,” arrives in stores on November 30th.
