Carmel High School Breaks Dance Marathon Record

CARMEL — The Carmel High School Dance Marathon keeps raking in the donations for its cause.
Saturday’s six-hour event raised $174,545 for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. The total topped last year’s previous school record of $159,506.

Approximately 1,100 students took part in the school’s fifth marathon.
The event had raised $129,000 in 2008, $58,000 in 2007 and $35,000 in 2006.
