Jay-Z is getting some support from a very powerful figure. “Hov” recently spoke with BBC One and revealed that President Barack Obama enjoys his music. Jay states, quote, “Barack loves hip-hop, when I called him he was playing ‘Blueprint’ in the gym.” The “DOA” rapper adds, quote, “I’ve been invited to the White House a couple of times. Hopefully we’ll keep him in for eight years so I’ll have time to get there.” President Obama previously discussed his opinion on the rap industry on the BET special “What’s In It For Us?,” saying, quote, “I think the potential for them to deliver a message of extraordinary power that gets people thinking [is great].”
