Former “Da Band” Member Sara Stokes’ Husband Arrested After Altercation
Making of the Band season 2 cast member Sara Stokes, got into a physical dispute with her husband resulting in his arrest.
Sara Stokes rose to fame in Diddy’s experimental reality show about putting together a group who became “Da Band” in 2002.
According to sources, Stokes was confronted by her husband Tony Stokes with allegations that the singer had been unfaithful. Sara was in Georgia visiting a friend and when her husband confronted her, the conversation escalated into Tony allegedly, punching and choking Sara.
Tony was arrested and released on $2,000 bond according to TMZ.com
This isn’t the only time the couple has dealt with the police. In August 2009, Stokes was arrested for stabbing Tony in the arm with a knife in front of their three children.
Stokes was in the news last year, she sued singer/producer T. Pain, claiming the producer cheated her out of royalties for song they co-authored for R&B singer Jennifer Hudson.
