22 year old Michael Leon Ward, of Georgia, was arrested for speeding in North Carolina. Police later discovered a gun in his cell that they believe was smuggled in the man’s rear booty. Police discovered the .38-caliber revolver in the toilet of Ward’s cell after he claimed someone was trying to kill him.
Cops searched his car, police reportedly found drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The gun didn’t have bullets in it at the time it was discovered.
Ward claimed he found the gun in his bunk bed and then tossed it into his toilet, where it was found by staff.
Ward was arrested Monday morning after allegedly driving a 2010 Dodge Avenger 90mph registered in someone else’s name.
