R&B singer Trey Songz is coasting to his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as his “Chapter V” should easily top the tally next week.

Industry sources are projecting that the set could sell between 120,000 and 130,000 by the end of the tracking week on Aug. 26.

The new Billboard 200 chart’s top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 29.

DJ Khaled‘s latest, “Kiss the Ring,” which may move around 43,000 sold in its first week (according to Nielsen SoundScan).

Owl City‘s new “The Midsummer Station” should also jump into the top 10, as it’s on course for a start in the range of 25,000 to 30,000. Owl City is currently enjoying a top 20 hit single on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Good Time,” a duet with Carly Rae Jepsen.

Christian band Tenth Avenue North is in the hunt for its first top 10 album as “The Struggle” is heading for the region with perhaps 25,000 or so. The group has gone has high as No. 15 with 2010’s “The Light Meets the Dark.”

Building tally is a precursor to the final Billboard 200 ranking — reflecting the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan’s tracking week as reported by six major merchants.

The Building Chart reflects the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan’s tracking week (which ends Sunday) as reported by six major merchants: iTunes, Trans World Entertainment, Best Buy, Starbucks, Target and Anderson Merchandisers. Billboard estimates that they make up about 85% of all U.S. album sales.
