Meek Mill’s album doesn’t drop until October 30, but it’s already received the stamp of approval from Jay-Z.
The Philly rapper played his debut Dreams and Nightmares for his idol this week and shared his reaction.
“Letting #hov & @_youngchris listen 2 #dreamsandnightmares wen hov tell ya shit hot….it’s hot!” Meek tweeted.
The Maybach Music MC is confident that he’s made an album that will go down in hip-hop history.
“A lot of people been shying away from the real rapping and hip-hop. I’m really representing. When I come out with my album, I want to have a classic album, an Illmatic, a Hard Knock Life, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ type of album.”
Last month, he released the single “Young and Gettin It” featuring Kirko Bangz and recently shot a video for “Burn” with Big Sean.
