Beyoncé soaks up the sun in her scorching-hot commercial for H&M’s summer collection.
In the sexy and fun ad, directed by Jonas Åkerlund in Nassau in the Bahamas, Mrs. Carter dances in the sand and splashes in the sea while modeling swimwear and beachwear.
She sports a black bikini on the sandy shores, performs choreography in a flowing sun dress, and gets soaking wet in a bodycon dress.
The 90-second spot also features the debut of her Sia-penned song, “Standing on the Sun.” The clothing will be available beginning in May at H&M stores worldwide and online.
“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion,” says Beyoncé. “I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements—fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”
