While Drake’s third album Nothing Was the Same drops in stores today, Drake celebrates by dropping the video for his top 10 single “Hold On, We’re Going Home.”
Set in Miami in 1985, the action-packed short film features a gun-toting Drake, with cameos from A$AP Rocky, actor Johnny Simmons, and Majid Jordan.
While at a club with his friends, he gets a call that hisgirlfriend has been kidnapped. So he puts on a ski mask, grabs his guns, and leads a deadly pursuit. When he discovers that one of his friends is a traitor, Drake doesn’t hesitate to shoot him dead before facing the rest of the bad guys.
Once he finds his girl in a warehouse, he and his crew have a showdown, exchanging rounds of gunfire and setting off explosions. But after all the blood has been shed, is he able to save his lady?
