A 9-year-old boy made it past TSA officials and gate agents without a boarding pass at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and flew to Las Vegas….alone!
According to an airport official said Sunday, the young boy was screened at security during the initial leg of his trip on Thursday, said airport spokesman Patrick Hogan.
Security camera tapes showed that the child then managed to board a Delta flight undetected, Hogan said.
Today Transportation Security Administration and Delta Air Lines are investigating how a 9-year-old boy was able to sneak onto a flight from Minneapolis to Las Vegas without a ticket.
The crew of flight 1651 noticed the child during the flight Thursday and alerted Las Vegas police, who took the boy into child-protection services
