Suge Knight is currently locked up and facing murder charges after killing a man by hitting him with his car on set of the N.W.A. biopic in Compton, but he does have some loyal supporters. The former Death Row CEO’s bail was originally set to $2 million, and a fundraiser has been launched to help get him out. Now, his bail stands at $25 million, and the fundraiser is still looking to rack up the funds. [HipHopDX]

The SPG (Star Wood Preferred Guest) program is gearing up to kick off their performance series, and John Legend is one of the big names on the ballot. John is set to perform for the Hear the Music, See the World concert series on November 5, 2015 at the Sheraton LA Downtown in Los Angeles, California. He said of the opportunity, “There is nothing better than getting up close and personal at small venues with fans who love music as much as I do,” said John Legend. “I get to perform for these devoted fans in the most beautiful settings at the most incredible hotels in the world. Arrested Development did pretty well when it got relaunched on Netflix two years ago as an original series, and now fans can look forward to a 5th season, as the show has been renewed. According to reports, a producer revealed at SXSW that they were already planning out another seventeen episodes for the series. [IGN]

Rumor has it that Mariah Carey may be developing a Christmas-themed movie, and yes, she will be starring in it. Reports say that New Line Cinema is developing a project that has yet to be titled with Brett Ratner’s RatPac Entertainment and producer Jon Shestack. Apparently the movie will include the story line of people using music to transport back in time to find their truest feelings. [Deadline]
