With “Yams Day” quickly approaching, A$AP Rocky stopped by HOT 97 to discuss the celebratory tribute concert, the success of his album A.L.L.A., and of course, the rumored tension between him and Travi$ Scott.

When asked about Travi$ Scott allegedly copying Rocky’s style, A$AP Rocky responded:

“Man, if you going to do something and influence people you can’t be arrogant about it when people get inspired. You can’t fault them for that. That makes you look crazy….they do say imitation is the highest form of flattery, so…but what I will say about that is I don’t think it’s cool to come at a rapper with video clips you have to come with music. That man is doing his thing he’s doing what he’s supposed to do. He’s getting fly, he fucking bitches and he making music. That’s it.”

When asked what his relationship is with Travi$ Scott today, he said, “I don’t know him too well. It was hi and bye.”

We’re glad Rocky didn’t give the reported situation too much energy. If Rocky says it’s nothing, it’s nothing.

“Yams Day” is set to go down at New York City’s Terminal 5 on January 18. The entire A$AP Mob, Flatbush Zombies, French Montana, Joey Bada$$, Lil Uzi Vert, and so many more are scheduled to perform in honor of the late A$AP Yams.
