Angela Simmons Opens Up About Her Fiancé's Troubled Past

Angela Simmons‘ fiancé has remained quite a mystery to the general public, but now the star is opening up about her baby daddy’s rocky past.

During an episode of Growing Up Hip Hop, Angela’s uncle, Russell Simmons, asked her some tough questions about things he’s heard regarding her beau Sutton Sean Tennyson‘s past. Angela began the convo by admitting, “Basically, he grew up in a rough neighborhood. He went to jail. Drug charges and stuff like that.”

After revealing that Sutton went to prison for marijuana, Uncle Russ responded, “Are you kidding me? N*gga went to jail for marijuana? Didn’t he go to jail for beating some girl?” 

Without going into too much detail, Angela responded, “There’s stuff floating around that he got in trouble for a domestic violence charge. But he did tell me what happened.”

The young mogul wants it to be known that her fiancé is a businessman now, whose troubles are just a thing of the past.

Angela and Sutton recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
