It appears Eminem will be making a big announcement sometime in the near future. The emcee took to his Twitter account on Tuesday writing, quote, “Some big news is coming. Soon.” While Em’s brief message revealed very little, fans speculate that the news pertains to his upcoming “Relapse Two” album. The record – which is a follow-up to 2009’s “Relapse” – was originally scheduled to arrive last year. The album was postponed, however, after Eminem decided to take his work in a different creative direction. The Detroit native told AOL’s “The Boombox,” quote, “I got back in with [Dr.] Dre and then a few more producers, including Just Blaze, and went in a completely different direction which made me start from scratch.” He adds, quote, “The new tracks started to sound very different than the tracks I originally intended to be on ‘Relapse Two.'”
Eminem’s “Relapse” opened at number one on the Billboard 200 with first week sales of 608-thousand. The record has gone on to sell more than one-point-nine million copies in the U.S.
