ISP Trooper Injured Following Crash on I-465

INDIANAPOLIS — State Police say a trooper was taken to the hospital after getting hit on the interstate early Saturday morning.
Officers believe the trooper was outside his car on eastbound I-465, at the site of a previous crash, when his car was hit near U.S. 31 and South East Street. This caused the trooper’s car to then hit the man.
At this time, it is not clear how severe his injuries may have been, or if anyone else was hurt.
