INDIANAPOLIS–The Indianapolis Colts held off a late rally from the Tennessee Titans to win on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium 38-30.

At one point in the game, the Colts led 38-7. That didn’t stop the Titans from roaring back, but on the Titans final drive, their quarterback Mason Rudolph threw the game-sealing interception to Colts defensive back Kenny Moore.

The Colts were propelled by running back Jonathan Taylor’s 218 yards on 29 carries with three touchdowns. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson completed 7 of 11 passes for 131 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Richardson also had a rushing touchdown.

Rudolph did throw 2 touchdown passes for Tennessee but was also intercepted 3 times. He was picked off twice by Moore and once by Samuel Womack III.

The Colts improved to 7-8 on the year. The Titans drop to 3-12. The Colts are in the 8th spot of the AFC. They hold the tiebreaker over the 7-8 Cincinnati Bengals based on wining percentage in conference games.

The next opponent for the Colts is the 2-13 New York Giants in New York December 29. Kickoff is at 1 pm.

13 teams have been eliminated from NFL playoff contention. The Giants and the Titans are two of those teams.
