“How to Train Your Dragon” warded off its critics to rule the box office after five-weeks on the big screen, bringing in 15-million dollars. Romantic comedy “The Back Up Plan” took in 12-point-three-million for second place, with “Date Night” holding firm in its third week with ten-point-six-million dollars.
Action comedy “The Losers” pulled in less-than-expected numbers for fourth place. That film brought in about nine-point-six-million dollars. Another action comedy, “Kick Ass,” got beat up at the box office to come in fifth for the weekend, with revenues falling 52-percent below the previous weekend’s levels.
