Canadian emcee Drake is opening up about his brief relationship with pop diva Rihanna.  The rap star tells the “New York Times” that he believes he was nothing more than a good time to the “Rude Boy” singer.  Drake explains, quote, “I was a pawn.  You know what she was doing to me?  She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear.  I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible.'”  Drake has used his short romance with Rihanna to create new music, as he spits about the relationship on his new track “Fireworks.”  “Drizzy” raps, quote, “I kept my wits about me, luckily – what happened between us that night, it always seems trouble to me.”

Drake’s “Fireworks” is featured on his debut album, “Thank Me Later.”  The record is due in stores on June 15th.
