Well it is that time of the year! The weather is just right and it’s ZOO TIME!!!! My daughter loves the zoo. Her favs are the monkeys and the elephants. We decided to make this trip to the zoo a small one. We just hung out for about an hour and half due to the extreme heat. But that was just enough to get her fix! We first explored the tigers. Can someone tell me why they are ALWAYS sleep? ALWAYS! Next we were off to the monkeys and she could have stood there are day. Is it weird that the peacocks are in the same cage as the monkeys? I mean…are they related? We got to the elephant show just in time to see the elephant play the harmonica! LOL! Last she road a horse thanks to some man who was nice enough to give us his left over ticket. Above is her picture. She played in the jungle gym area for a bit and then said “Mommy I am tired!” WORDS TO MY EARS! Are quick visit to the zoo was worth it. I love seeing a smile on her face. By the way, I have a season pass to the zoo. You may want to consider it. It is worth the money!
