R. Kelly channeled 1950s soul singer Sam Cooke at a charity event in Chicago benefiting Clara’s House by performing a set featuring songs from Cooke’s classic catalog.

The VIP crowd were treated to a reprise of a performance that R Kelly famously did for invited guests at his home before the release of his latest album, Love Letter.
