Avoid Ghetto? There’s an APP for that!
Microsoft has developed a GPS feature that would allow smartphone users to avoid high-crime and bad-weather areas. The app, which links up with your GPS or Smartphone, immediately notifies you when you are nearing a neighborhood with high crime statistics. The feature was first dubbed the “avoid ghetto” feature by CBS News Seattle, and the nickname has stuck.
