Nas is on the mend after being hospitalized in New York City on Friday (Jan. 11). The Queens-bridge MC was battling a bout of vertigo, a condition that can cause dizziness and loss of balance.
While on a plane ride to NYC, where Nas was headed to do an interview with Live! With Kelly and Michael, he started feeling sick and was hospitalized immediately after the plane landed.
He was placed on bed rest and has since been discharged from the hospital, but is still recovering. In a tweet, he wrote, “Peace y’all. I’m out of the ER & doin alright. I’m on bed rest for a few. Apologies to everyone @ Live w/ Kelly & Michael. I’ll make it up.”
Nas is currently up for four Grammy Awards, which takes place on Feb. 10.
