Chris Brown dissed Frank Ocean by remaining in his seat while the rest of the Staples Center gave him a standing ovation.
Feb. 10 when the artists were both up for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. Frank ended up winning, and even though he received a standing ovation from the entire Staples Center, Chris remained seated.
Frank’s acceptance speech was also pretty weird. He started by saying that, even though some people pretend the audience is naked in order to calm their nerves, he didn’t want to do that.
“I want to look at you as kids in tuxedos and being fancy and all that,” he told the crowd.
Frank won again in the category of Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “No Church In The Wild,” which he shared with Jay-Z, The-Dream and Kanye West, who wasn’t able to make it to the ceremony.
