A complaint has been filed for receiving stolen property against Norman Polk.

Polk is being held at the Cuyahoga County Jail for getting arrested in the stolen car, and Cleveland Third District Police are investigating how the car was actually stolen.

A Cleveland police report shows the car was taken from an area downtown where vehicles used for props had been parked.

Just after midnight Thursday morning, Middleburg Heights Police saw a car rolling down I-71 with no license plates. Officers learned the vehicle, a 2013 Chevy Malibu, had been stolen from the movie set.

Police say the driver, Polk, didn’t have a license. Police video shows Polk even held the license plates out the window when an officer pulled him over. It was learned Polk claimed to have permission to be in the vehicle, but he really didn’t.
