13 Basketball Players Who Jumped Sneaker Companies
The sneaker bidding war between Under Armour and Nike came to an end on Sunday when Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant post his choice on Twitter with his decision to stick with sneaker giant Nike. According to Darren Rovell of ESPN says the deal will likely run until Durant decides to hang up his jersey, as the extension will last until 2024.
Rovell says the deal offered to Durant is somewhere in the area of $265-$285 million range for the next 10 years. Nike hoped its offer to KD was enough to keep the superstar on its roster. The next question for Durant will be where will he play after next years free agency.
