It’s another sad day for hip-hop fans, as reports say that underground rapper Pumpkinhead has passed away.
According to reports, the Brooklyn MC’s death, whose real name is Alan Diaz, is quite sudden, having died of unknown causes at age 39 years old, with little details known at this time.
Pumpkinhead was prominent in the New York City underground music scene, and came into the spotlight around the 1990’s, appearing on Immortal Technique’s Revolutionary 1 and Revolutionary 2 albums.
He even released his own project, Orange Moon Over Brooklyn back in 2005. We send our condolences to his loved ones during this tragic time.
