Instagram Changes Terms Of Service, Stirs Anger Among Users

Idk about yall but, I couldn’t help to see all those post people are posting on Instagram that say “TURN ON POST NOTIFICATIONS.” I had to see what the hype was all about and unfortunately it’s true; you might want to do that (turn on the notifications by clicking those 3 dots posted in the right corner of a post) if your used to seeing your homegirl post pics of her new bundles and that #MCM you lurk for every Monday.

Since the beginning IG news feeds streamed with posts in chronological order (new to old). Now your news feed will be filled with stuff IG “thinks” you would be interested in seeing. I’ve been trying to figure out if thats a good thing or a bad thing. In the little research I did, I’m thinking it might not be so bad.

“Most users miss 70% of their feeds,” said Mike Krieger, IG’s co-founder, “What this is about is making sure that the 30 percent you see is the best 30 percent possible.”

Sounds cool with me! Sometimes I get tired of seeing the same ol blah blah faces. Most of us follow over 500 people, aren’t you tired of seeing the same stuff too? Luckily this change hasn’t been dramatic and fast. We’ve been slowly easing into it since March 15th.

So if you just gotta get your dose of that fine chocolate man #MissBehavin on your timeline or those beat faces by you favorite makeup artist, go ahead an turn on those notifications and follow me while your at it by putting in the hash tag #MissBehavinWithMissPooh (IG, Twitter and FB)!
