Beyonce is reportedly being sued by a filmmaker for allegedly swiping some elements of his movie for her visual album ‘Lemonade,’ THR reports.

Is there some truth about this, or is the plaintiff just being a sour lemon?

Filmmaker Matthew Fulks claims ‘Lemonade’ snagged artistic decisions in his film ‘Palinoia.’

“The number of aesthetic decisions included in Plaintiff’s PALINOIA Work that are parroted in Defendants’ LEMONADE Trailer demonstrates that the LEMONADE Trailer is substantially similar to the PALINOIA Work,” states the complaint.

“The misappropriated content includes both the particular elements that the Plaintiff chose to comprise the PALINOIA Work and the coordination and arrangement of those particular elements.”

With so much fanfare around how original this project was, it will be interesting to see how this plays out in court.
