Atlanta’s own Lil Baby, aka Dominique Armani Jones, just hit a major milestone, and the streets are buzzing! The rapper recently wrapped up a business course at Harvard Business School, showing he’s about leveling up on all fronts.
Lil Baby didn’t keep this journey to himself, either. He shared clips of his time at Harvard on social media, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how he juggled the grind of being a rap star while diving into the world of business. His main motivation? Gaining the tools to run his label, Glass Window Entertainment LLC, like a boss.
A dope video making rounds online shows Lil Baby coming back home to Atlanta, where his family threw him a surprise party full of love. We’re talking music, balloons, good food, and a massive banner to celebrate his hard work.

Back in March, fellow rapper Veeze gave Lil Baby his flowers, posting, “My twin really went back to get his degree at Harvard. So proud of my brotha.”
Fans have been hyped too. One person posted on X, “Lil Baby going to Harvard is a vibe. THIS is what using your platform is about—leading for the youth, especially in the Black community.” Another fan compared him to a hip-hop legend, saying, “He’s moving like Jay-Z. Big moves only.”
Of course, some folks had questions, like, “Was it an honorary degree or a certificate?” and “Did he really graduate, though?” But most people weren’t about the negativity. As one supporter said, “Degree or not, he’s out here doing something positive. Respect that. Congrats to him.”

Lil Baby’s Harvard move isn’t just about him—it’s part of a wave of artists stepping into education to grow their hustle. As one fan summed up, “I didn’t go to Harvard, so seeing this Black man better himself is inspiring. Big congrats!”
Now, with that Harvard certificate locked in, Lil Baby is proving once again he’s not just talking about being great—he’s putting in the work to live it.
