J. Cole is revisiting his iconic 2014 Forest Hills Drive album to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special edition that includes never-before-heard tracks.
Set for release on December 9, the updated version of the album will feature songs like “Home Soon,” “Die Together,” “Judgement Day,” and “Winter Wonderland”—unreleased cuts that were originally part of Cole’s vision for a double album, but ultimately didn’t make the final tracklist.

In addition to the new music, Interscope Records is offering a limited-edition vinyl with an alternate cover design. Only 2,014 copies of this vinyl will be made available, and fans can pre-order one copy each.
These special edition records will ship out on December 6, just ahead of the album’s anniversary. A digital deluxe version is expected to follow, with the same bonus tracks available on streaming platforms.

When 2014 Forest Hills Drive first dropped in 2014, it was a surprise release—no singles, no features, and little promotion. Despite its unconventional rollout, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became one of Cole’s defining works.
Tracks like “No Role Modelz,” “Wet Dreamz,” and “Love Yourz” helped solidify his place in the rap game. Cole has mentioned before that the album could have been a double album, but narrowing it down to just 13 songs was a tough decision.
The anniversary edition follows the recent reissues of Cole’s earlier mixtapes Friday Night Lights and The Warm Up, which hit streaming services earlier this month.
With those releases generating excitement, fans are eagerly wondering if more unreleased material, like Cole’s early collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, will eventually make the light of day. Whether these future drops will become a regular trend or remain rare moments of nostalgia, the anniversary edition of 2014 Forest Hills Drive is sure to be a highlight for long-time fans.
