Rubi Rose, who had previously suggested her brief romance with Druski was simply a publicity stunt, recently clarified that their relationship was, in fact, real.

During a live appearance on Adin Ross’s stream on Wednesday, Rose, fresh off a conversation with Bobbi Althoff about her OnlyFans earnings, addressed her earlier claims about Druski “paying for PR.”

Admitting to her previous remarks, Rose explained,

“Here’s an honesty moment,”

before revealing,

“Me and Dru were really in a relationship. I said it was PR because he pissed me the f**k off and hurt my feelings, so yeah. But that was really lame of me and embarrassing.”

Rose acknowledged her mistake, adding,

“I shouldn’t have said that, but it’s in the past now. We’re friends and cool still. We’ve known each other for, like, 10 years, since high school type stuff.”

She emphasized that Druski and her would “always” remain friends, admitting that the comedian was “really bothered” when she initially framed their relationship as a PR stunt.

Rose also reflected on how much the relationship meant to her, noting the long history they shared before the public split.

In June of last year, Rose confirmed her breakup with Druski, but it wasn’t until a few months later that she retracted her statement about their relationship being a publicity move.
