Week 5 Ends with Explosive Testimony in Diddy Trial
Week 5 of Diddy’s federal trial was anything but quiet.
The woman publicly known as “Jane” wrapped up five days on the stand. Her testimony detailed disturbing claims against Sean “Diddy” Combs, including sexual coercion, financial control, and physical abuse. She said Diddy forced her into sex acts with escorts and adult entertainers during “hotel nights,” which were sometimes filmed.
According to Jane, the experiences were emotionally draining and often violent. She described one incident where she left with a black eye and welts. In 2023, Diddy began covering her $10,000 monthly rent, which Jane said made her feel pressured to continue those encounters.
The defense pushed back hard. They presented text messages and video clips that showed Jane expressing love for Diddy. Some messages showed her helping plan the encounters. In one audio clip, Diddy referred to her as his “crack pipe,” raising questions about the nature of their relationship.
Jane also revealed that some hotel nights were presented as sobriety support meetings. But she made it clear they were anything but that. She also recalled a Vegas trip with another rapper that triggered a heated and aggressive response from Diddy once he found out.
Looking ahead, Week 6 will feature key witnesses. That includes Diddy’s former assistant Jonathan Perez and a federal agent. Prosecutors say they expect to rest their case by the end of the week. That means closing arguments could be just days away in one of the most high-profile celebrity trials of the year.
