The Hot Sheet with Shavona Slayz
If you missed The Hot Sheet this morning, here’s what I got for you.
Indy’s turning up this weekend for the 4th Annual Legacy Fest Block Party at the Madam Walker Legacy Center. It’s all going down this Saturday, June 21, from 12 PM to 8 PM, with live music, food trucks, vendors, and family fun as we celebrate Black Music Month and the legacy of Madam C.J. Walker. And you already know I’ll be out there brandcasting live from 10 AM to 3 PM, so come get some shine!
Then in July, the Noblesville Boom—that’s the Pacers’ G League squad—is hosting a youth basketball camp from July 14–18 at The Arena at Innovation Mile. The camp runs 9 to 2:30 daily, open to kids ages 7–15, and it’s for all skill levels. For $250, your kid gets a Boom T-shirt, two tickets to a home game next season, and a chance to play on the official court. You can find the registration below.
Now let’s fast forward to the fall. The 2025 Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage sets sail October 19 through 26. Katt Williams, Ne-Yo, Tyrese, Mary Mary, Petey Pablo, October London, Crime Mob, The Eastside Boyz, and a Southern Soul show hosted by 803 Fresh. And guess what? Hot 100.9’s own Incognito and Lore’l will be on board too. It’s the ultimate Party with a Purpose, raising money for HBCU scholarships across the country. Use code INDY to book at FV2025.com or call 214-495-1963.
That’s your Hot Sheet. Catch me live every weekday inside The Morning Hustle at 7:20, 8:20, and 9:20.
