Pacers Confirm Haliburton Will Miss Entire 2025–26 Season
The Indiana Pacers have confirmed that Tyrese Haliburton will sit out the entire 2025–26 season following surgery to repair a torn right Achilles tendon. Pacers president Kevin Pritchard emphasized that the team will not rush his recovery. “I have no doubt that he will be back better than ever,” said Pritchard, confirming the surgery went well. Haliburton suffered the injury in Game 7 of the NBA Finals after playing through a calf strain in Game 5. Despite a strong performance in the Finals—14 points, 5.9 assists, 4.6 rebounds—he went down late in Game 7. Haliburton posted that he would “do it again, and again… to fight for this city and my brothers.” The long recovery means he won’t suit up next season, but the Pacers plan to protect his future.

TSA Pilot Program Lets Travelers Leave Shoes On
If you fly out of major airports, here’s some good news: the TSA is rolling out a pilot program that lets passengers keep their shoes on during standard security screening. First reported at airports such as Baltimore/Washington, Fort Lauderdale, Cincinnati, Portland, Philadelphia, and Piedmont Triad—and confirmed at LAX and LaGuardia—the change appears to be a soft launch. TSA hasn’t officially confirmed, but said it’s “exploring ways to enhance the passenger experience.” This could impact the value of PreCheck in the long run.
